Male or Female

Allow all-ness to be all. Without a tempt to make more. Within one tense and place, one will, discover all.

In denial is ego being maintained; with denial will Spirit be restored. To deny in full, is to deny one purpose fully. To disband divided purpose. Denial supports affirmation. Affirmation is lifted by denial. The blue inner light of both flames are witnessed in reflection. Candle burning alongside candle brightening.

Inner contemplation about gender confusion and identification:

Within the illusion we have been trained by the ego to perceive enormous amounts of difference and fragmentation. The purpose is to keep one believing in separation. The differences which we perceive include both form and content. Multitudes of beings all with different physical traits and appearances, as well as multitudes of personalities and expressions, even amongst beings which possess similar form.

One of the initial codes of separation, which encompasses all we perceive in the illusion, is gender. Female or male, are distinctions that are strongly fixed in ones awareness and projected onto both perceived form and content. Inordinate objects are also identified as possessing male and female characteristics. Codes of conduct and countenance that change within time and place, within individualised mind.

The Course encourages us to look past form and discover true content; Spirit awareness rather than ego awareness. Beginning within oneself and extending to our projection. The ego begins with gender assignment at a tender stage and age. Some struggle to fit themselves into these two boxes, in terms of either their inner being, physical form, or both.

One may determine the best solution is to just let them be as they are.

Another way is to accept that any ego demarcation and declaration does not represent the true Self. This path is one of consciously identifying with Spirit, where healing awareness is the foundation for unifying divisions, and facilitating perceived oneness (inner and outer).

Identity aligned with ego attributes will likely shift and slide as desire and belief change shape according to mirror images. There is no right or wrong or good or bad reflection, yet there is a guided way to certainty; reflecting pure light. Sameness perceived within a divisional component does not make same or whole, but maintains separation.

Gender association is just one of many choices we are given in this healing journey through illusion. All paths ultimately leading us to inner and outer unity awareness, beyond gender, species, and any illusion of subdivision.
